AIC Members are required to complete professional development credits as part of the Institute’s mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program. A mandatory component of the CPD program is the completion of the Professional Practice Seminar.
The Professional Practice Seminar:
Provides an update on changes to CUSPAP from one cycle to the next
Raises Member awareness and provides advice on key professional practice issues
Gives Members tools and information to empower them to achieve and maintain the highest standards of professional practice
The course is designed and presented by designated AIC members and is delivered through UBC’s distance learning platform. Members may begin the course at any time and proceed at their own pace, providing they complete the course by the December 31, 2024 deadline. Designated AIC members receive 7 CPD credits upon successfully completing the PPS online course.
