Diploma Program in Urban Land Economics (DULE)

A nationally recognized credit program that offers a high standard of real estate education. Graduates are employed in the real estate industry as brokers, analysts, developers, assessors, property managers, and real estate appraisers.

Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) Education Program

This program has been designed for highly-motivated people seeking to join the real property valuation profession as well as for valuation practitioners already employed in the industry who want to upgrade their education.

UBC/AIC Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation

Developed for business school graduates across Canada who want to gain skills and abilities specific to real property valuation. Meets the education course requirements for AIC's AACI designation.

UBC/AIC Certificate in Residential Valuation

Developed for degree graduates across Canada who want a comprehensive education on residential property appraisal. Offers an accelerated path towards AIC’s CRA designation, including choice of elective course.

Certificate Program in Real Property Assessment

Developed in cooperation with the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO), this program covers the fundamental concepts of appraisal, assessment administration and computer assisted mass appraisal.

Continuing Professional Development

The Real Estate Division offers a range of short online courses designed to support your professional growth in real estate. For AIC licensed practitioners, these courses can fulfill Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements for AIC credits, while for others, they provide practical skills and insights to advance your career. Courses are delivered online either in a self-study format with an online quiz or as an interactive live webinar.
