The UBC Diploma in Marketing & Sales Management is a two-year, part-time program aimed at today’s leaders in marketing and sales management.

The program is designed and taught by UBC Sauder’s award-winning marketing faculty and is focused on providing sales and marketing professionals with the skills and best practices to perform at the highest level in their organizations. The curriculum is applied, hands-on, and industry relevant.

Open House

We invite you to an informal gathering where you'll have the chance to meet some of your award-winning future instructors and hear from students currently in the program.

Find out how current students, professionals just like you, enrolled in the diploma, are easily managing the flexible study schedule, applying their learning in real-time - and have already been promoted at work!

Our next Open House will be taking place on April 29th, 2025, from 6:00 - 7:00pm PDT, on the 9th floor of the UBC Sauder building.

Rolling Registration

Apply before September 5, 2025 for the Fall 2025 session.

Applicants to Year 1 of the program are eligible for a $500 early-registration discount if they register by June 30, 2025.

Program at a glance

Who: Fast-track, proactive sales and marketing professionals and entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries and backgrounds.  Learn with like-minded professionals who want to advance their careers and still manage the demands of work and family.
What: 2-year part-time evening diploma program using real-world case studies.  Students can apply best practices to their role straight away.
When: Each course is 8 weeks long and meet on Tuesday evenings 7-9pm. Year-end workshop, project presentations and banquet at the end of March/start of April.
Cost: $2,500/course. Includes all course materials, year-end workshop and banquet, and membership with Diploma in Marketing & Sales Management Vancouver. Bursaries and Scholarships are available to students.  Fee excludes 5% GST.
