UBC's finance division ranks among the leading finance groups in the world in terms of both research and teaching. We pride ourselves on our diverse research interests, with faculty research ranging from machine learning analysis of financial contracts to theoretical models of how ambiguity impacts asset prices.
The division hosts two annual conferences that bring together top researches from around the world, the Winter Finance Conference and the Summer Finance Conference. We also host a regular Seminar Series.
The division has an excellent reputation for training students. Undergraduate programs include the BCom Finance Specialization and the experiential Portfolio Management Foundation and Sauder Women+ in Finance Training programs. Graduate programs include the MBA Finance Track
and the research focused Finance MSc and PhD Program.
