Dr. Steven Minns
Lecturer
Steven is a Lecturer in the Strategy and Business Economics Division at the UBC Sauder School of Business. His academic interests include business strategy, international business, innovation, decision making and public policy; and he has just co-authored the recently published book 'Government Policy, Business and Society'. He has a PhD from University of British Columbia, an MBA from Imperial College Business School, London and a Bachelors from University of London.
Before joining Sauder, Steven was Head of Project Management at Taylor Woodrow, an international development and infrastructure firm with operations throughout Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East. He now teaches in multiple programs at Sauder and his courses include ‘Strategy and Economics of Innovation’, ‘Environment, Society and Government’, as well as ‘Strategic Decision Making’. As well as delivering the SDM course in the open enrollment program, he has delivered customized Strategic Decision Making courses to clients throughout Canada and in Hong Kong.
