Start your career with DAP

Designed for individuals looking to build strong accounting and business fundamentals, the UBC DAP is a part time program that allows students to continue working while studying. Taught by award winning instructors, the program offers a rich learning experience supported by a diverse cohort of classmates and a practical, applied curriculum. With flexible scheduling through in person or live online weeknight classes, students can complete the program in about 16 to 24 months while receiving personalized career coaching and support to help them prepare for new career opportunities

Who Should Apply?

Post-secondary degree graduates from any discipline aspiring to either enter directly into CPA PEP or pursue careers that require foundational accounting knowledge and skills. Our program bridges the gap and equips you to transition to your new role.

Please be aware that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced important changes to the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility criteria, which took effect on November 1, 2024. We encourage you to stay informed by regularly checking the eligibility criteria on Work in Canada after you graduate: Who can apply - Canada.ca . At the current time, the Diploma in Accounting Program (DAP) is not considered an eligible field of study for the PGWP.
