Waiver eligibility (August 2025 Entry)
GMAT/GRE waivers are available for international applicants until January 10, 2025, and for domestic applicants (Canadians & Permanent Residents) until May 6, 2025. Applications must be submitted in full, including a Statement of Qualification* and all supporting documents (at least two references, unofficial transcripts, degree certificates, and an English test score that meets the admission requirements, if applicable, uploaded to your application).
To be eligible, candidates are required to meet one or more of the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum academic average of B+ or equivalent, two or more quantitative courses with a minimum academic average of B+ or equivalent, Or,
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum academic average of A- or equivalent, no quantitative courses minimum required, Or,
- Master’s degree with a minimum academic average of B+ or equivalent, and a minimum of three years of full-time work experience after completion of Bachelor degree, Or,
- A LSAT test score accepted by the Peter A. Allard School of Law Admissions Office and two or more quantitative courses with a minimum academic average of B+ or equivalent, Or,
- Applicants wishing to take advantage of this GMAT waiver must send a request to Allard’s Admissions Office to have their LSAT scores transferred to the Robert H. Lee Graduate School.
- Level II CFA pass and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum academic average of B+ or equivalent; Or,
- A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
Additional Notes:
- If an applicant has two or more degrees, at least one degree must meet the minimum academic average requirement listed above.
- CPA certificates will not be considered.
- Test scores expire before July 31, 2025 will not be accepted.

GMAT/GRE waivers are not guaranteed, and approvals are made on a case-by-case basis. If a waiver cannot be granted, applicants will receive a notification that a GMAT or GRE test will be required for their application to move forward, hence the importance of being specific and detailed in your GMAT/GRE waiver Statement of Qualification.
