Past projects
What have our students worked on?

BC Hospitality Foundation
The BC Hospitality Foundation requested a Corporate Sponsorship Plan to increase revenue and other forms of support for their five signature fundraising events per year: #HospitalityHustle, DISH (drink. indulge. savour. help.), Okanagan Golf Tournament, Vancouver Golf Tournament & Victoria Golf Tournament.

Susgrainable
Susgrainable has been working on a pilot program regarding Circular Economy workshops delivered to high school students within BC. While the program has received good feedback, getting participation has been a challenge. The assumption is that teachers are just trying to get through the rest of the school year, as it has been a struggle adapting to all the changes and challenges that COVID-19 has presented. They have requested a marketing plan to help promote this new arm of the business to the appropriate demographics.

Safi Enterprises
Safi Enterprises require a FY2021/22 Carbon Offsets ‘go-to-market’ plan. The Carbon Offset ‘go-to-market’ plan identifies selling carbon offsets to generate secondary revenue and to financially reward our farmers for their carbon negative agriculture practices. The Carbon Offset “go-to-market” plan will provide direction in determining cost to benefit considerations and potential revenues.

Sea Smart
Sea Smart need a 2022 Fundraising Plan that outlines strategies for increasing unrestricted monetary donations from corporate and individual donors. Their goal is to increase fundraising revenue by $300K in 2022 and this plan should contribute significantly to achieving this target. The incremental funds will help support the organization with its general operations and overall programs, versus donations identified for specific program and/or initiatives.

529 Garage - Vancouver Police Department
VPD 529 Garage is looking to expand the impact of the 529 Garage project by encouraging cyclists to register for their program. Presently, there are approximately 20,000 new registrants to the program each month with no marketing behind it. They are looking to double this with a possible budget of roughly $20,000. 529 Garage currently uses Facebook and Twitter to post information on recovered bikes, cycling related education, and share content from partners. They also hosts registration events which allows residents to learn more about the program and register their bikes on the spot. With all these initiatives, 529 Garage needs a comprehensive marketing plan that will help revive the brand and provide direction on messaging, social media management, and recommendations to hit the goal of doubling the number of program registrants.
