As a UBC Sauder alum, your insight and network are invaluable in identifying top applicants for our UBC MBA and PMBA programs. Join the UBC Sauder Alumni Referral Program and help us build a community of exceptional individuals committed to leading with rigor, responsibility, and respect. By referring an outstanding colleague, member of your professional network, friend, or family member, you will contribute to strengthening the legacy and impact of UBC Sauder.

As a thank you, referred applicants who meet the eligibility criteria may be eligible for an application fee waiver. Additionally, if your referred applicant is accepted into the UBC MBA or PMBA program, you will be entered into a draw to win 1 of 5 free 2-day open enrolment program vouchers applicable to any of our highly regarded Executive Education programs (see contest rules).

  • Referrals through this form are only being accepted for the UBC Master of Business Administration (Full-Time) and UBC Professional Master of Business Administration (Part-Time) programs.

    If you would like to refer a prospective student to another program, please reach out to mban@sauder.ubc.ca for the UBC Master of Business Analytics program or mm@sauder.ubc.ca for the UBC Master of Management program. 

    • This form can be submitted at any point of the prospective student's application process. 
    • You must obtain explicit consent from the person you are referring before sharing their personal information, such as their email address or contact details, with the university.

  • We will use the information you provide to contact this individual, to provide more information on the application process and to answer any questions they may have before proceeding with an application. Making a referral does not guarantee that an individual will be admitted to the program but referred applicants who meet the eligibility criteria may be eligible for an application fee waiver.

    • Referrals must meet our admission criteria and be admitted to the program for the alumni to be eligible for the contest. See full contest rules here.
    • The referral must be made by an alum of one of the following UBC Sauder programs, BCom, DAP, MBAN, MM, MBA, MSc, PhD, PMBA or PTMBA.
