Business Development and Marketing Intern with ChopValue

ChopValue Manufacturing Ltd. is a rapidly growing product development and design startup that creates innovative materials with recycled chopsticks as resource. Business Development and Marketing Intern with GRAIN

GRAIN is a social venture that is disrupting the way North Americans think about, buy and consume pantry staples like chickpeas, lentils, whole grains and flour. We work directly with family farmers to provide traceable grains, beans and flours to B.C.’s finest chefs as well as consumers across North America. We also mill the freshest, tastiest and most nutritious fresh flour available anywhere. We mill it on a beautiful, handmade stone flour mill imported from Austria. GRAIN is hiring a business development and marketing MBA intern to support the company’s business development efforts as they launch the fresh milled flour category and continue to grow their existent product categories.

Marketing and Sales Intern with Meatme

Meatme is an online marketplace for consumers to connect with local farmers for healthy and honest meat. The company is on the hunt for a world-class Marketing intern to join the founding team: a food loving organizational mastermind (Jennifer), an award winning chef (Trevor) and a seasoned Dutch entrepreneur (Victor). In the last year we have grown Meatme.co from an idea into a company with serious traction (and won the BC Social Venture prize along the way, jay!). Next up is accelerating growth and expanding Meatme in to new cities in North America. We are hiring for this internship at a critical time in the growth of our startup, as the intern will play a key role in determining where we go next and how we do it.

Customer Acquisition and Digital Marketing Intern with Quupe

For young urban adventurers who can't find the equipment they need for a price they can afford, Quupe ("koop") is an online rental platform that allows people to rent things from their neighbours. Founded by four master's students from the Centre for Digital Media, Quupe started with the realization that people have valuable things in their homes that sit around gathering dust. We at Quupe envision a world where neighbours can share all their resources among one another in a trusted, safe environment. As we say in Quupe-land: Own everything! Quupe is hiring a business development and marketing intern to play a key role in determining where the company will go next and how.

Operations and Business Development Intern with Zero Waste Market

Zero Waste Market is a Vancouver-based social venture that is saving the planet one container at a time! We are a 100% package-free grocery store on a mission to cultivate a better world by inspiring people to change the way they shop for groceries. We envision an unpackaged future: a lighter world that values a food system free of excess and waste to support the health of both people and planet. By buying in bulk with reusable containers, we empower consumers to create a demand for sustainable alternatives to the food industry’s status quo and to reduce food waste and plastic pollution while they’re at it. We’re all about community and are supporting both Vancouver’s Greenest City 2020 Action Plan & Vancouver Food Strategy goals. Zero Waste Market is hiring a values-driven intern to support the founding team to develop efficient logistics & operations and business systems for their new grocery store business model aimed at reducing the impact of our current food system on the environment.
