Program Overview
UBC Sauder students can apply to the unique dual degree to gain both a UBC Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Advanced Management (MAM) from the Yale School of Management.
The UBC MBA and Yale MAM are complementary degrees, which only require an additional five months on top of a two-year UBC MBA to complete both degrees as some credits completed at Yale count towards the UBC MBA. Students accepted into this dual degree will spend Year 1 at UBC and Year 2 at Yale. With the UBC MBA, students gain business experience and expertise that can transform your career path. When paired with the Yale MAM, students gain an even more in-depth understanding of global issues, enabling graduates to make an even bigger impact as a global business leader.
Admissions & Finance
Both UBC Sauder applicants and current UBC Sauder students can apply for the Dual Degree.
Apply for the Dual Degree as a UBC Sauder applicant
Applicants may apply for both the UBC MBA and the Yale MAM at the same time, communicating to both programs in their application their intention to start the MAM post-MBA. (Students will not be accepted into the MAM until their acceptance to the UBC MBA is confirmed.)
Apply for the Dual Degree as a current UBC Sauder student
Once accepted into the UBC MBA, current students may apply for the Yale MAM in the beginning months of the UBC MBA program.
Tuition and Scholarships
Tuition for the UBC MBA and the Yale MAM is separate. In both programs, all admitted candidates are considered for a scholarship, based on merit.
Students in the Yale MAM interested in working in the public or non-profit sector after graduation may be eligible for the Yale School of Management Loan Forgiveness Program. For more information on financial assistance for the MAM, visit their website.
