Trevor Sones

Adjunct Professor

Trevor is an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Behaviour at UBC Sauder School of Business. A wonderfully energetic instructor, he teaches highly-reviewed programs on conflict resolution, persuasion, negotiations, communication and leadership at three top-tier research universities in Canada. His ongoing interests focus on the psychology of complex communications, leadership and negotiating collaborative change. 

Trevor has also worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies such as Samsung, Coca-Cola and Safeway, as well as major organizations like Seaspan, SNC Lavalin and the Provincial Health Authorities of BC. With thousands of days of mediation experience solving interpersonal conflicts and major multi-party disputes involving large organizations in the public and private sectors, his unique value proposition is his ability to go beyond the research and provide participants with real-world tools and techniques that actually work in the field. 

Trevor holds a BA Hons in Criminology & Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Law from Carleton University, and an MA in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Victoria.
