Dr. Gail Levitt

Senior Associate

Gail is a dynamic educator, facilitator and coach, specializing in influential and collaborative leadership that results in individual, team and organizational effectiveness. Bringing four decades of diverse industry and academic expertise in leadership, influence and strategy to professionals in Executive Education and MBA programs, she fosters increased accountability for change through unique collaborative activities, self-reflection and action planning. 

In addition to her teaching activities, Gail has helped organizations including Toyota, WorkSafe BC, TD Bank, Nisga’a Lisims Government, TELUS, BC Ministry of Labour, Transport Canada, Canada Post, Vancouver Coastal Health, Loblaw Company and Service Canada navigate through times of change.  

Before her current role, Gail held leadership roles in marketing communications and project management in both the public and private sectors. She has also written several acclaimed books and thought leadership articles on team leadership and communication. 

Gail’s professional leadership experience is complemented by her extensive academic training. She holds an MA in English from the University of Illinois and a PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Exeter, England. She is also certified to teach many proven leadership tools, including MBTI, DISC, Core Strengths, Situational Leadership and FIRO-B.
