Although I've lived in Toronto, South Korea, Egypt, and Honduras, Vancouver is the city I've happily called home for the past 9 years. Making a decision about where to live, study, and work isn't always easy, and I'm committed to helping people discover the next step that will allow them to grow, professionally and personally. Having worked for the top universities in Canada in numerous functional and student-service areas, I am eager to bring my in-depth knowledge of higher education to prospective students.

I have been working in Canadian Higher Education sector for more than a decade, and with a Master's Degree in Education, I am passionate about supporting students' journey and helping people find their potential through higher education. I thrive in people connections and I enjoy different stories. I am also deeply committed to fostering an equal, diverse, and inclusive community at UBC Sauder. Beyond my professional endeavors, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and archery, you can probably find me on one of the local mountains in the summer!

I am a UBC alumna, with a master’s degree in economics. My professional experience is in banking, executive education, corporate operations/financial management and public service. Prior to joining the Robert H. Lee Graduate School, I worked in retail banking in British Columbia and Ontario, and venture capital focusing on mergers and acquisitions in Beijing. My most recent experience and knowledge is in public service and municipal policy, where I demonstrate my passion for fostering an equal, diverse and inclusive community. I enjoy spending my free time with my family exploring beautiful Vancouver.

As the Director of Recruitment and Admissions for the UBC Sauder School of Business Graduate degrees since 2018, I have led strategic initiatives that have strengthened the school’s global reputation while proportionating career and life-changing opportunities for UBC Sauder future alumni. I bring extensive people-focused and digital transformation experience in entrepreneurial, corporate, and higher education environments with experiences spanning South and Latin America, Europe, Asia, and North America. I’m passionate about career coaching and empowering individuals to become better versions of themselves. A personal goal of mine is to visit 60 countries - I’m currently at 51 and welcome suggestions for cool places to visit worldwide.

I am a UBC alumnus with a background in economics and energy management. My experience in talent acquisition and student services allows me to understand candidate development and provide holistic support. I'm genuinely excited about contributing to prospective students' success and look forward to playing a meaningful role in guiding the UBC Sauder graduate student ambassador program.

Hello! I’m Minjing (MJ). I hold a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and have diverse experience in communications, social media strategy, and project management within the educational and non-profit sectors. My decision to pursue the MM is to develop the skills to transform scientific knowledge and abstract concepts into practical applications. I’m currently exploring the intersection between sport, business, fashion, and technology! Having lived, volunteered, studied, and traveled to 26 countries, I’m endlessly curious about different perspectives. South America is next on my list, so let me know if you have any tips! Hi, my name is Sara. I grew up in a family where every conversation was about business, and I was always curious about it. I’ve always been passionate about three things: learning, numbers, and helping others. I chose to become a dentist and help people get rid of their pain, what a great feeling! But my curiosity for business never ended. That’s why I joined the Master of Management program at UBC Sauder. I’m exploring this new world and looking forward to bringing my healthcare experience to the world of business. In my free time, I hang out with family and friends, appreciate the beauty of Vancouver, and watch documentaries.
