Mariana Martinez Rubio

Originally from Mexico, Mariana moved to Vancouver for university after living in South Africa for six years. During her time abroad, she came to understand the complexities behind international development and became passionate about finding scalable and sustainable ways to solve global issues. Mariana’s had the chance to work in the impact space in Vancouver through her involvement with the UBC Social Enterprise Club as a conference director and as president of the club during her second year. She will continue her work building and empowering the young entrepreneurial community in Vancouver with the League of Innovators as a Connector. As an incoming 3rd year Entrepreneurship and Sustainability student, Mariana is thrilled to work with S3i during.
