Jarrett Vaughan
Jarrett Vaughan holds a Master of Arts in Tourism and Leisure Management from the University of Brighton (UK) and a Master of Science in Tourism Management from École de Management de Normandie (France). His international education led to a career in business consulting, where he specialized in social media strategy and guest experience, completing projects in the UK, France, Eswatini, Morocco, Mauritius, and Canada.
Jarrett spent a decade in luxury hotel management, most recently with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. He is also the founder of Blue Aspect Properties, a real estate investment company with residential holdings across Western Canada.
Since 2017, Jarrett has been actively involved in the Web3 space, beginning with investments in Bitcoin. His interest evolved into teaching and speaking engagements on NFTs, crypto, and decentralized technologies. He has launched both an NFT project and a podcast focused on Web3 innovation.
Jarrett is Core Faculty with Blockchain@UBC, where he contributes to teach on blockchain technologies and their applications in business.
Outside of his professional work, Jarrett is a musician, urban farmer, and outdoor adventure enthusiast with a strong interest in libertarian economics.
