Arif Mulji
Arif Mulji is CEO and Managing Director of Amur Financial Group which has grown to become Canada’s largest alternative mortgage lender. Prior to his tenure as CEO, Arif held the roles of VP Marketing and Business Development and Chief Operating Officer. Arif started his career in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
Aside from business endeavors, Arif’s passion comes from teaching. From 2009 to 2014, Mr. Mulji was a faculty advisor at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business where he worked closely with the top students as they prepared to compete in National and International business case competitions. He also taught courses in business strategy in the MBA program. Since 2014, Arif has been teaching at Douglas College where he taught courses in Strategy, Marketing, Finance and Professional Sales.
Arif is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and has held a number of board positions. He also enjoys a variety of sports and was a member of UBC’s Varsity Tennis team.
