Global Business Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship
Awarded to applicants with the potential to make an outstanding contribution to UBC Sauder’s global and dynamic environment and drive positive organizational change on an international scale.

Dean's Excellence in Diversity Award
Up to two awards for incoming MM students who are a member of an underrepresented community and equity deserving. Scholars will be selected based on their demonstrated commitment to building a culture of inclusion in their communities and excellence in academic and professional settings.

Meera and Braj Raj Sinha Graduate Award for Women in Management
Awards totalling $2,000 have been made available annually through a gift from Ekta Sinha, in honour of her parents Meera Rani and Braj Raj Kumar Sinha, for women entering the Master of Management program who demonstrate community engagement and leadership. Financial need may be considered. Ekta (M.M. 2017), a senior product manager at Electronic Arts, has over six years of product management experience across various tech verticals such as social media, advertising, retail, legal and most recently game and entertainment. Outside of product management, Ekta is committed to giving back to her community by teaching product management courses at BrainStation and by providing mentorship and career support in product management, marketing and software engineering.

External scholarships
The following external organizations offer or administer a variety of scholarships for all applicants. Please note that these scholarships are not administered by the Robert H. Lee Graduate School, the UBC Sauder School of Business or UBC, unless explicitly stated.
Aga Khan Foundation - International Scholarship Programme
The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from select developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies, in order to develop effective scholars and leaders and to prepare them for employment, primarily within the AKDN. Scholarships are awarded on a 50% grant : 50% loan basis through a competitive application process once a year in June or July.
CAEL Scholarships
CAEL has two scholarships for international students: $5,000 each, one to a student currently studying in Canada, and one to a student currently studying overseas.

Kathryn Huget Leadership Award
Awarded to a Master's or PhD student, with preference given to female students currently in leadership roles, whose focus is to improve the business workplace for women. Preference given to the applicants studying in the areas of: organizational behaviour, business administration, business and commerce, sociology, or psychology.

The UBC awards for Indigenous students include scholarships and bursaries. When a student applies for these awards, they are considered for both merit and need-based awards.
