The Undergraduate Office (UGO) is the centre of academic advising and support services for Bachelor of Commerce students on the UBC Vancouver campus. As an Academic Advisor for the BCom Program, Wally supports students from the moment they apply until the day they graduate—offering guidance, sharing valuable resources, and highlighting opportunities that enhance the student experience both inside and outside the classroom.

At Sauder, I have gained ample knowledge through my time as an executive of our student body, Commerce Undergraduate Society, networking to find cool jobs, and hopefully international exchange in a few months! Seeking to experience Sauder in my own ways, I have applied my student experience differently, with a focus politics and government. As an aspiring law student (who's an absolute nerd for Comm 393, Commercial Law) I've found ways to make a commerce degree the foundation of my career ahead.

I'm a third-year Sauder student passionate about blending creativity and data storytelling, sparked by my favourite course, COMM191. Involvement in Alpha Kappa Psi and BOLT UBC has helped me grow as a leader and build lasting friendships. My internships in procurement, logistics, and supply chain have brought classroom concepts to life. From organizing case competitions to relaxing at Great Dane Coffee, these experiences and connections have genuinely made my time at UBC unforgettable.

Hi I’m Helen, a 2nd-year Accounting student minoring in Data Science! In my free time, I love binge-watching Netflix, with Suits as my favorite. Although feeling lost about grades and future in 1st year, I've now discovered my strengths and career interests. Through multiple club roles and coffee chats, I’m more confident about making the most of my journey here. I'd love to talk about 1st-year courses, joining clubs, being an international student, or anything about being a Sauder student!

Being part of this society has enhanced my management skills, inspiring me to start my own business. Whether it be studying or being with friends, my experience at UBC Sauder has been transformative, allowing me to create lasting memories and forge lifelong friendships.

Hi I'm Jay! I'm in my second year, exploring the many facets of business, but so far, one of my favorite classes has been COMM 296 (Introduction to Marketing) because it sparked my passion for the creative side of business. Outside of class, I'm actively involved with the Commerce Undergraduate Society, UBC Marketing Association, and Sauder JDC West, a case competition team. When I'm not working on a case or hanging out at the CLC (Canaccord Learning Commons), you'll likely find me wandering around and enjoying the beauty of UBC's campus.
