Warren Spitz

Warren Spitz is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and investor. He is actively engaged in the arts community and on key social issues, giving his time, talent and support to a wide range of charities, non-profits and community groups.

He is the Founder and CEO of Spitz Group of Companies, which includes Upper Canada Forest Products, Sierra Forest Products, A&M Wood Specialty, Frank Brothers Guitar Company, and Spitz Technologies.

Warren is the Chair of the Faculty Advisory Board of the University of British Columbia (UBC) Sauder School of Business and a Mentor for the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) - Vancouver in the Climate Stream.

Warren sits on the Board of NOW Health Group, based in Chicago. He is a member of the Chief Executives Organization and past Chair of the Upper Canada Chapter of YPO. He is in the Entrepreneur’s Circle of the Canada American Business Council (CABC).

He is the Board Chair of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival. He also served on the Board of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) from 2007-2017 and is a past member of the Art Gallery of Ontario Foundation Board of Trustees.

Warren is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his work in support of Canadian military families. With his family, he created the Spitz Fellows Program for Indigenous Women at the UBC Sauder School of Business in 2015.
