Please note that approval of a GMAT/GRE waiver request is not an indication of admission to the UBC MM program. Applications are assessed holistically, including a review of the applicant’s overall academic record. In some cases, following an initial or secondary review, the Admissions Committee may require a GMAT or GRE score to further demonstrate academic readiness. This may occur where academic performance is inconsistent, even if the applicant otherwise meets the waiver's eligibility criteria.

Applications must be submitted in full, including a Statement of Qualification and all supporting documents:
- At least two completed references
- Unofficial transcripts
- Degree certificates
- English test score that meets the admission requirements (If applicable, uploaded to your application).

Approval process
GMAT/GRE waivers are not guaranteed, and approvals are made on a case-by-case basis. If a waiver cannot be granted, applicants will receive a notification that a GMAT or GRE test will be required for their application to move forward, hence the importance of being specific and detailed in your Statement of Qualification.
