Claudia Heese

Claudia is a fourth-year PhD student at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Her research focuses on constructively navigating fundamental differences in teams as well as complex problems. Specifically, she examines the role of value diversity and integrative complexity in creative problem solving. In addition, she investigates the conditions under which interdisciplinary research collaborations achieve successful outcomes. During her visit, she will work closely with Professor Michael Daniels to study political ideologies, value pluralism, and humility at the workplace. [March - June 2026]
Manqing Xin
Doctoral Student | Tsinghua University
Manqing is a 5th-year PhD student from Tsinghua University. His research focuses on the multi-level impact of Artificial Intelligence on organizations, specifically examining multi-agent interaction processes and AI’s role in idea generation and evaluation. Additionally, he explores the intersection of AI and Human Resources, including its influence on talent selection and performance appraisal. During his visit, he will work closely with Professor Kevin Lee to investigate how technology reshapes creative and administrative processes within organizations. [February 2026 – February 2027]
Sara Slinn
Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School | York University
Sara Slinn is a Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, also serving a Program Director of Osgoode's professional LL.M. in labour and employment law. She holds graduate degrees in Industrial Relations (Ph.D. University of Toronto; MIR Queen's),an LL.B. (UBC) and a B.A. Honours in Economics (Queen's). She has written extensively on labour and employment law and is a General Editor of the Comparative Labor Law and Policy Journal. Professor's Slinn's research interests are in the areas of labour and employment law, including a focus on approaches and impediments to collective representation and bargaining, and the intersection of Charter rights and labour law. During her visit, she will work closely with various research faculty in the division. [November 2025 – June 2026]
Yen-Chu (Jessica) Lai

Yen-Chu (Jessica) is a 4th-year PhD student at the Institute of Human Resource Management, National Sun Yat-Sen University. Her research focuses on leadership succession and people management within family businesses. She explores how these businesses navigate leadership transitions and implement strategic changes to ensure family growth and business continuity. During her visit, she will work closely with Professor Mia Raynard. [September 2025 - September 2026]
