Three in-person 8-day residencies will provide UBC Professional MBA students with an immersive educational experience, integrating multiple business topics, professional development and experiential activities. As with all elements of our Professional MBA program, teamwork and strategic thinking will be integral.

Leadership & Competitive Strategy
(January, Year 1)

- Understand the connection between these two topics
- Enhance self-awareness, career management and networking skills
- Assess your current style and approach of leadership communications
Ethics, Sustainability & Managing Change
(January, Year 2)
What you'll learn:
- Build on knowledge attained in foundational modules
- Gain insight into the nexus of ethics, sustainability and making change with skills development activities
- Gain the professional development skills to operate successfully in a variety of environments
Business Development & Negotiations
(December, Year 2)
What you'll learn:
- Build on the knowledge gained throughout the 24 months
- Develop effective communication strategies through experiential application
- Conclude the program with clear idea of future career direction
Note: All students are responsible for covering the cost of travel and accommodation to attend the in-person professional residencies. The cost during your time in Vancouver may vary and are subject to your location and the time of year for travel.
